I'm Ines

hey there!

I am a mum of four boys between the ages of 13 & 4, so believe me when I tell you to relax and not worry about your kids during your session, as without a doubt I have been there before myself!

To be honest, I never saw myself with a big family growing up, but I love this hectic and busy life we have.

As surprising as this seems to be for most people, I adore being a boy mum and even all the football isn't so bad at least during the summer months when the weather is better :D!

Goodness, writing about yourself isn't easy and it's even harder to know what is actually of value to someone else, so I will simply leave you with a few fun facts.

I'm a fully qualified early years teacher but have never actually worked in that profession

I have never watched a Tom Cruise movie

I'll choose to stay in over going out any day

I only drink coffee in the summer as iced coffee

I'm an adventure holiday vs Disney World kind of person

I like cats & dogs!

my favourite colour is green

I LOVE good food

Photography is the art of capturing beauty

in the moment

I have had an obsession with photographs for as long as I can remember. Looking through Photo albums and viewing slide shows was my idea of fun, well it still is, to be honest!

I have always been taken by the bigger meaning of photographs and their value.

How lucky are we to be able to look back on so many wonderful moments in our lives and also the lives of our loved ones?

All these memories captured and frozen in time.

I could spend hours looking through old photographs of my grandparents and it always brings up so many questions and the stories to go alongside them.

Through photographs, we have the opportunity to relive moments and become part of some we never had the chance to experience first-hand.

Now that to me is pretty magical!

For outdoors it has to be golden hour, just before sunset and indoors and studio wok will always be morning for the most beautiful light..

I am obsessed with Maternity Sessions. This is after all when life forever changes in the most magical ways. The strength and beauty every pregnant mum shows is always something I will forever be in awe of.

It is so important to me that the images you will receive will be timeless. There will always be different styles popular over the years, but these photographs are investments and to me just like with clothing and furniture, investment pieces have to last!

My editing is true to colours and any skin edits will be light and minimal.

Any specific retouching requests can always be discussed, however.
